Against the backdrop of the ongoing global "PVC ban," the building decoration industry is undergoing a materials revolution. SKY WIN leveraging over two decades of technological accumulation in the field of polymer composite material extrusion, has successfully propelled its RPET (Recycled PET) flooring production line to a mature mass production stage, truly transforming waste plastic bottles into high-performance flooring materials. The core of RPET flooring lies in "turning waste into treasure." Using recycled PET bottle flakes and stone powder as main raw materials, a high-rigidity board with a density of 1.8 g/cm³ is produced through a precise extrusion molding process. This density closely resembles the stable texture of natural stone, making it particularly suitable for high-traffic commercial spaces such as hotels and shopping malls. Another PETG formulation has a density of only 1.55 g/cm³, closer to the warm touch of WPC, making it suitable for home decoration. SKY WIN employs mature five-roll calendering technology on its RPET production line. This core process, which helped the company win the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, ensures that the boards are heated evenly and have a dense structure during production. After rigorous mixing, high-temperature extrusion, five-roll calendering, and cooling and shaping processes, the final board surface is smooth and flat, with a stable and reliable internal structure. Notably, RPET flooring exhibits outstanding waterproof performance. After a 48-hour water immersion test, ordinary SPC flooring warped significantly, while RPET flooring deformed minimally, allowing it to be directly laid on damp concrete surfaces, saving contractors the step and cost of a waterproof barrier. Currently, the Vietnam base has six RPET extrusion production lines provided by SKY WIN in operation, with a monthly capacity of 300 containers (approximately 8 million square feet), and is continuously expanding. This signifies that RPET flooring has moved from concept to large-scale mass production and has truly entered the global market. From recycled plastic bottles to high-quality flooring boards, from the core technology of five-roll calendering to the design revolution of digital printing and EIR synchronous embossing, SKY WIN, with over two decades of accumulated R&D experience in extrusion equipment, has made each production line a solid foundation for the implementation of green building materials. In the future, as more production lines are set up and operational around the world, this technology, which originated in the laboratory, will eventually enter every household and become a real force driving the sustainable development of the building materials industry.
